Contact with other independent schools around Nairobi is maintained by means of a full fixture list of inter-school matches in all the major sports at different age levels. Key sports at Brookhouse include:

In addition there is active participation in tournaments, competitions, festivals, leagues and exhibitions. Brookhouse Secondary has for many years organised its soccer competition for secondary schools while the Preparatory School hosts the Brookhouse Choir Festival. The Brookhouse Illustrated Creative Writing Competition is also a long-standing fixture on the Nairobi schools agenda.
