This intensive programme bridges the gap between local high school qualifications (such as theKCSE in Kenya) and university in the UK. It is also an excellent pathway to university for those who wish to improve their British curriculum A-level results.
Choose three modules from a range on offer along with Key Skills in Communication and ICT to get you ready for independent learning at university. These exciting and enjoyable modules will prepare you to go on to do engineering or law, business or science degrees in the UK. Teaching methods match those experienced at university, and your work will be continually assessed throughout the course. Final examinations take place in July.

HERE IS WHAT FORMER STUDENTS THINK......
"Participating in the IFY programme was a great opportunity for me to develop the skills and knowledge needed to gain admission to one of the world’s most prestigious universities. Not only did it expose me to independent learning, I was surrounded by excellent teachers, whose respective methods of teaching do not differ from the ones I find at the university" Idris Ajia, Engineering
"The best thing I liked about the IFY programme was the good student to teacher ratio, which improved my understanding, due to the concentrated efforts of the teachers. The IFY programme makes it very easy to adapt to studying in the UK"
