Fees for the NCUK Foundation Programme are payable at the commencement of the course (November) and at the commencement of Semester Two (April) in Kenyan Shillings or US Dollars.

The academic year for the Foundation Programme is split into two semesters and runs from November – July.

Parents are at liberty to choose in which currency they wish to pay school fees. Payment for the year should remain within the nominated currency. Payments must be made by either telegraphic transfer or by local bankers cheque.

RATES SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT TIME OF PAYMENT


The tuition cost includes all textbooks and some stationery. The student is expected to provide some items of equipment as listed in the handbook for parents and students.

Registration fee - Early Years Only (non refundable) Kshs. 5,000* (once only)

* Parents may choose to pay a Early Years only registration fee, currently Kshs. 5,000. This option may suit parents who are not sure as to whether they will be in Kenya for the longer term. By paying this fee, parents need to be aware that –

  • When your child reaches Year 2 at Brookhouse the initial Early Years registration fee carries forward as a deposit on whatever is the current full standard school registration fee.
  • By way of illustration, if your child reaches Year 2 in three years time, and the standard school registration fee has increased to Kshs. 35,000, then parents who have opted for Option Two would need to pay a further Kshs 30,000 as the balance owed on registration.

In some subjects residential field courses are offered.  There will be a nominal additional cost for these only to cover the cost of transport, food and accommodation.  For example, a Geography field trip costs about Kshs. 3,500 per night and will last about two nights.  Other additional activities are offered at a small extra cost.  Some activities require a nominal weekly or termly payment; such activities are optional.
