The Brookhouse uniform is an integral part of the ethos of the school.

It is compulsory, and each item of clothing must be clearly marked with the child's name.

  1. Prefects, House Captains and other student leaders are required to wear their badges.
  2. Preparatory School students may only wear one pair of stud earrings and a watch in terms of jewellery. 
  3. Secondary School students may wear subtle, inexpensive jewellery; two pairs of studs are acceptable for girls and one pair for boys. 
  4. Nose studs are not permitted.
  5. For all students, hair must be of natural colour, and neatly kept. 
  6. Boys must be clean shaven.
  7. School ties are compulsory for all boys and girls.  Additionally, Year 12 and 13 girls may wear the school scarf.
  8. Footwear must be sensible for school: no sandals, flip flops, flat shoes, boots or high-heeled shoes.
  9. All uniform items must be marked with the child’s name, preferably using woven nametags which are available at ANIMET.
