Brookhouse celebrates the opening of its sister campus in Runda, welcoming the first intake of students in September 2017. The state-of-the-art Runda campus offers world class facilities on a 15 acre site, just north of the UN complex in Nairobi. Brookhouse Runda will initially include Early Learning, Prep classes from Year 1 to Year 8, and Year 9 in Secondary School. Eventually it will grow to provide a through school British curriculum education to IGCSE and A-levels.
The Brookhouse Runda management team combines UK and Kenyan expertise, with Lea Gilbert, founding Head at Gildredge House, UK taking up the role of Runda Campus Head, and Matthew Kithyaka, former Director of Starehe Boys Centre, joining the Brookhouse family as Senior Administrator. They will lead a team of dedicated and experienced staff at the Runda Campus.
Like its counterpart in Karen, Brookhouse Runda will offer co-educational day school to Kenyan and international pupils, with academic excellence and a holistic approach at the core of our educational delivery. In Early Learning, we are excited to introduce the Reggio Emilia approach, with its rich focus on child-centred creativity and exploration.
As the Brookhouse family grows, we continue to nurture young global citizens who are self-confident, responsible and care for others. Welcome to Brookhouse Runda - where children are inspired to “learn to excel"
